The Māori Trustee Act

The Māori Trustee Act 1953 set out the powers and obligations of the Māori Trustee.  In 2009, the Act was amended to establish “Māori Trustee” as a stand-alone organisation, separate from government.  The powers of the Māori Trustee remained unchanged.
