Pupuritia te mana o te tangata, o te whenua puta ki te ao mārama  (Hold fast to the mana of the people and the land moving into the future) expresses the importance of the whenua to the people who belong to it, and the eternal nature of the relationship between the land and the people.

Our tohu/logo is a taniwha, well known as a kaitiaki, or guardian.
