20,000 payments to owners
Published 10th Oct 2011
Between September and December, the Māori Trustee will be distributing around $5.5 million to clients who receive income from their land.
This will result in around 20,000 payments being made to clients’ bank accounts.
Payments are made to people who have given their contact details to the Māori Trustee. If you are a Māori Trustee client, check your name in our database to see if you have already given us your contact details and if not, send us your details online.
Money distributed from land blocks will stay in each client’s Māori Trustee account until it can be paid to a personal bank account. See more about how money earned by land blocks is managed and distributed.
